App for unused Confluence pages/spaces

Andreas Kropp February 3, 2022

We are looking for an Confluence extension (Cloud-Platform), which lists pages within spaces that have not been accessed/used in a certain period of time.
It would be very useful if this extension automatically sends an email to the page creator/last modifier und/or space admin(s).

Is there a solution on the market?

@Andreas Kropp Welcome to Confluence Cloud.

As you stated, none of this is available natively in Confluence. And you have some very specific needs that you outline.

There are two apps in the Marketplace that have some, but not all, of the features you are looking for. Many of the functions you would like from a reporting standpoint are available on Premium with Insights - but not all of what you are looking for.

Check these apps out to see of they fit your needs enough.

Hi @Andreas Kropp

You might check out eazyBI for Confluence app, which offers a set of metrics to analyze Confluence pages (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1219504/eazybi-reports-and-charts-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=overview).

For example, page views and page updates across time, thus highlighting the pages not visited for long and popular pages that are not updated for some time (there are some examples in the Demo account). You may use the eazyBI tool and also for following content creation activities, most active contributors, and see the task completion.

You can visit the eazyBI Demo account any time and check out the most popular report templates (no login required): https://docs.eazybi.com/plugins/servlet/eazybi/accounts/6/dashboards/9-page-view-analysis

You can interact with the report and see (Drill through) pages behind numbers.

Best,
