In the set up dialog box for the chart you have the option to have a standard count or cumulative totals. For some reason when I select cumulative it doesn't work, I only get the standard count.
It looks like there's a difference in the functionality if you choose to insert a Jira Chart and pick "Created vs Resolved" as Igor did above - where the cumulative total option works - versus inserting "Other Macro" and choosing "Created vs Resolved" and selecting the options in that macro for cumulative totals - which doesn't work.
This has vexed me for a year!
Hello,
Can you specify what is your Jira and Confluence versions?
I had a quick test in my Confluence 6.10.0 connected to Jira 7.8.1 and my graphs change the moment cumulative is ticked:

Jira 7.3.6 and Confluence 6.2.4
I should point out that using the same filter with the JIRA gadget works correctly with cumulative ticked, it's just the Confluence gadget.
