I have run into an issue multiple times now where when I run an analytics report to view articles created in a given time period the number of articles created is incorrect. This has caused my employees to have to manually track their article creation so they can correct the system when it is wrong which led me to look into a specific issue more in depth yesterday. I have attached a couple of print screens here but the gist of the issue is that confluence is showing a newly created article only as edited and not as created. If anyone has found a solution for this problem or knows if there is something specific we are doing to cause the issue I would appreciate any feedback! Thank you!
This is strange and interesting. On the User Activity screenshot of the Site Analytics, is there another filter in play? I see the "Filter" menu is highlighted.
Another thought, and I haven't tested this yet, are any of the missing pages restricted? I don't know if that would affect this report, but just a thought.
The filter I have applied is looking in all spaces. I have attached a print screen for clarification. By default the personal space is turned off so anyone who creates an article in their personal space and then moves it later would not get credit for that new article.
These shouldn't be restricted at all from what I can tell.
