Is it possible to amend the 'Blank Page' template within Confluence?
I want to be able to force users to use a standard company template for a page rather than starting with a truely blank page (obviously, once they edit the page they could remove the contents to have a blank page).
Is this possible?
Steve,
It appears to be an outstanding feature request.

Looks like an old one, with a call for use case justification from the PM 4 months ago.
Thanks for this - just what I was looking for. I have pinged the PM. =)

How do you do this? From what I can tell the issue has been resolved but when I go into Admin/ Global Templates & Blueprints I do not see the Blank Page template listed and therefore cannot alter it. The question remains: How do you alter the Blank Page template?

By default, this is not possible without customization or perhaps plugin development but I found this article which might interest/benefit you: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFEVAL/Create+a+Page+Using+a+Default+Template
