Hi,
We performed a confluence upgrade from version 5.10.8 to 6.7.2 last night. With some minor hiccups, we were able to get through the upgrade.
But, right now, one problem still lingers around - images do not showup on IE11. The below error is posted on IE11 console
DOM7009: Unable to decode image at URL: 'https://wiki.tollbrothersinc.com/download/attachments/24674732/image2016-4-25%2014%3A20%3A3.png?version=1&modificationDate=1461608404043&api=v2&effects=border-simple,blur-border'.

The workaround seems to be entering into edit mode, clicking on every image and changing the effects.
Is there a fix? Is there a better work-around? Isnt IE11 still supported?
Thanks,
Rakesh
Hi all,

Can you please Tell me how i can disable Image effect Plugin?

According to this document IE11 is still supported for cloud:

However now looking at your URL it seems you are using server, I found this known issue, if you vote for it, it might speed up the fix.

We are having a server version and as per this link, it seems to be supported.

Thank you for identifying the bug, it seems to be also related to

39360 doesn't list 6.x version as impacted.. We are on 6.7.2. Bug 54978 seems to be listing 6.7.2 as impacted.. But doesnt list 6.8.0.
This means either the bugs arent kept up-to-date or 6.8.0 isnt impacted. Thoughts?

A temp solution i used is to disable the plugin - ImageEffectsPlugin
I wish there is a better solution.

I guess you could try to upgrade to 6.8?
This looks weird to me as only some versions are impacted.

Upgrading didnt work. The problem seems to be that the plugin is writing a .PNG out with the content being that of a .JPG.
