Advanced permissions

Deleted user November 15, 2019

Hi,

I'm on Confluence Cloud,

I would like to know if it's possible to set up advanced permissions,

Exemples :

I Would like to not allow some people to see comments (so my documentation is like a website page).

Would like to not allow everybody to publish a new version (so i'm sure to control the publications of new versions).

Thanks for help,

Hello @[deleted],

Welcome to Atlassian Community! It's nice to meet you.

It's not possible to modify comments permissions besides Add and Delete.

We have two feature requests for that:

  • CONFCLOUD-24939 Restrict view option for comments on a WIKI page
  • CONFCLOUD-5639 Hide comments completely from certain users (add a hide comments permission?)

As for your second request, you would just need to restrict Edit on the page using Confluence Page Restrictions. Then they won't be able to edit the page, just view.

Let me know if you have any questions about that.

Regards,

Shannon
