Hi All,
I'm curious if anyone else is encountering a similar issue with uploading images to Confluence templates.
When I add an image to the template in Confluence by using the "create new" button, it loads properly. However, if I utilize the "create confluence page" automation within Jira, the image fails to load and instead, I receive an error message stating: "Something went wrong. We couldn't generate a preview for this file. The selected item was not found on the list."
Thanks,
Kal
This is known to be broken. The current workaround is to create a page with only the image and then using the page content macro to include the image in the template.
Hi @Kallan Roi, did you check the permissions already? When using automation like "create confluence page" from Jira, there might be a permission issue where the automation lacks the rights to access the image within the template.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Hi Patricia, I tried setting the actor in the jira automation as myself instead of the Automation for Jira account we usually use. Would that eliminate permissions as the issue or is there something else I could check?
Thanks!
