502 proxy error when trying to login confluence 5.8.4

HI ,

Proxy Error

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /login.action.

Reason: Error reading from remote server

 


Apache/2.2.15 (CentOS) Server at <hostname> Port 86Please advise,vinay

Hi Vinay, 

 

The error 502 means The server is currently unavailable (because it is overloaded or down for maintenance). Generally, this is a temporary state. 

I recommend you to check your Confluence connections. Looks like your proxy is trying to communicate to Confluence, but Confluence is too busy to reply.
