Нет возможности напрямую подключиться к базе данных, есть ли возможность узнать логин/пароль по умолчанию для подключения?

Открой файл dbconfig.xml, который находится в Jira_Home. Там будет имя пользователя и пароль

Да, все верно. Это я с Jira перепутал. 

Для confluence <confluence_home>/confluence.cfg.xml
