I've been chatting with support about recent changes in Confluence Cloud markdown support and they created this product RFE:

My use case may be special but I've written a number of report generators that output tables in Github flavored markdown language that worked in confluence for the last number of years. A recent change broke that and documentation didn't map to the current behavior.
So, here's a chance to weigh in on Confluence markdown support.
