Great session with many new insights and some sneak peeks for planned features and improvements! I especially enjoyed seeing more of the new "Space" feature and I second Matt's joy about finally being able to rename space keys :D The new user permissions feature also is another life (and time) saver for troubleshooting.

Still waiting on the ability to have uppercase characters while renaming space keys, but in any case, this has been a long-awaited feature from our side! And yeah, I've been cleaning spaces lately and Space Owner feature sounds good. Will be nice to have a similar thing to Jira project leads. 🙂

That was packed with insights! The new Confluence features, especially custom domains and improved space management, open up so many possibilities. Thanks, Matt and John, for diving deep into the details.

The session was super engaging! We had a lively and fun discussion, full of jokes and punchlines. Matt and John went deep into the wishlist that every Confluence admin should have. We have custom domains (only available for Confluence Cloud) that can redirect URLs too. The most exciting feature is space management, which has some really cool features like filters (personal space/team space), key search, and the best part: the ability to change the key of a space. Some features are still on the roadmap, but they still make me excited, like bulk actions for archiving and deleting, role-based access, labels, and finally, the content manager for a specific space, which will make things so much easier. This session was amazing for admins to share their wishlist and get immediate answers.

My biggest learning from this session is The new "User Access" feature enables admins to view and audit permissions for specific users or groups across the Confluence site, making it easier to understand who has access to what. The ability to inspect and manage permissions from a central dashboard streamlines troubleshooting and ensures better content security, this will be a game changer for our team

This is not just a learning from the session but its gonna practically help our teams - Confluence introduced the ability for admins to assign specific individuals as "space owners," facilitating better accountability and allowing admins to manage spaces with less confusion. Space owners can oversee content within their designated areas, supporting a streamlined Confluence structure.
