✨ Nest elements using drag-and-drop!

Hi Atlassian Community 👋

I’m Rory, a Product Manager from the Atlassian Editor team.

A few months ago we announced the arrival of drag-and-drop for editor elements. Well hold onto your drag handles because this feature just got an upgrade!

Whats new?

✨ Drag-and-drop content in and out of other bodied elements

You can now use drag-and-drop to move content in and out of bodied elements including; layouts, tables*, panels, expands, quotes, and bodied macros.

Example: Drag-and-drop in layouts

*We currently only support drag-and-drop of content into tables.

✨ Re-arrange nested content

Use the drag handle to rearrange content nested within a bodied element.

ℹ️ Note: We know that a number of you would love support to be added for rearranging list items - please know that this is on our radar as a future enhancement.

When will it be available?

These updates will be progressively rolling out over the next month, so if you don’t see them yet - rest assured that you will soon!

Cool @Rory Baker

Are we considering the new feature of block quote?

I can quote a paragraph or content in a confluence page in other pages. Then users can edit the block quote in any page and the updated result will be seen in all the pages which are using this block quote.

Thanks,

YY Bro
