Hello Community!
We know that many of you have been eagerly awaiting the next Confluence Server and Data Center Long Term Support (LTS) release. After ensuring that this release has appropriately soaked and hardened for quality, we’re excited to announce that Confluence 7.19 LTS is now available!
Upgrading to a Long Term Support release provides you with continued access to critical security, stability, data integrity and performance fixes for the full two years before this version reaches end of life. It enables you to move quickly when a high impact bug fix, or security fix is ported over and released for upgrading.
In the lead up to Confluence 7.19, the Confluence teams have focused on building great user value by shipping product improvements and new features, as well as tackling high impact items / bugs, to ensure we have a high-quality, high-value release. Several of these items turned out to be extremely complex, and required significant time to fix and test. All in all, we've resolved over 245 issues since 7.13.0.
Confluence 7.19.0 includes all of the improvements and features that we’ve shipped since Confluence 7.13.0, our last Long Term Support release, including:
Encrypt your database password for greater security (Data Center, Server)
Make your integrations more secure with OAuth 2.0 (Data Center, Server)
Keep your site running like clockwork with new application metrics (Data Center, Server)
Updated VPAT documents for accessibility improvements (Data Center, Server)
Support for more databases (Data Center, Server)
Faster permission checks for complex sites (Data Center, Server)
