Creating Jira issues directly from Confluence? We've released more supported fields 🤩

Just last week we posted about a new template for the new Jira Create Action in Automation for Confluence.

Today we wanted to follow up quickly with an update of support for more fields in Jira! 🎉

We've already released support for the following this week and you should all have access to them:

• Environment

• Labels

• Custom Field - Text Field (multi-line) / Paragraph (supports rich text) 

• Custom Field - Text Field (single line) / Short text (plain text only) 

• Custom Field - Number Field 

• Custom Field - User Picker (single user) 

• Custom Field - User Picker (multiple users) 

• Custom Field - Select List (single choice) 

• Custom Field - Select List (multiple choices) 

• Custom Field - Date Picker 

• Custom Field - Date Time Picker 

And by the end of August we'll be adding support for the following fields as well:

• Reporter

• Linked issues 

• Components (

• Priority 

• Original Estimate 

• Fix versions 

• Custom Field - Checkboxes 

• Sprint 

• Custom Field - Radio Buttons 

• Remaining Estimate

• Affects versions 

• Custom Field - Version Picker (multiple versions)

YEESSS @Avinoam Love what you and the team are doing on this. Improving the automation between the two applications is vital and enabling custom fields for better data transfer is perfect.

This is awesome!! It would be even more awesome if we could somehow tag some area of a confluence page and map that using smart values to a specific custom field on issue create. 

For instance we have headers on a page that each have a paragraph under them that could be used to populate custom text area field on Epics in Jira.

This is a great feature.  I have a team that the sprint field doesn't show in the more fields.  What would cause this?  I have other teams and it is in the drop down.
