π Community! Avinoam from Confluence Automation here again, and today to let you know that Automation for Confluence is now compatible with Live-Edit-Pages!
To date, with the introduction of live pages - automation for Confluence was not compatible given live-edit-pages do not have a publish button. In order to make sure you can leverage automation with any type of page, we've added support for:
So that no matter which type of page you're creating - automation has you covered and will continue to work flawlessly.
For example - if I have a manual trigger to send a page for approval, I'll see the automation lightning bolt in the editor toolbar on the live page and it will know to work to accommodate for the fact that this is a live page.
When setting up a rule to automatically publish a new page, you don't have to do anything differently since automation will know if you have live pages on and it will create the right page type accordingly.
Moving forward, we'll also be adding more clarity around this in the rule builder with more controls, but for now - we wanted to make sure that you can enjoy the benefits of more streamlined collaboration with live pages along with the value of automation!
These are already available for all Premium and Enterprise Confluence!
