Compass 'Active Bugs' Metric

I'm just starting to make use of Compass and one thing that comes to mind is wanting to use the 'Active Bugs' metric.

It appears this metric only works by pushing the info in via the API.   Wondering if there's any plans for this metric to be fed via Jira. possibly via a JQL query or something related to the 'Issues' integration.

If anyone has already solved this through other means, it'd be great to hear about it.

We're interested in this too.
We expected this to work especially since JIRA Service Management can sync its services with Compass and services can be added to JSM issues via the "Affected Services" field.
We assumed that once a service is synced and a JSM issue lists it among affected services, this could be reflected in the service's compass page.
