Happy Friday from the Compass team! Katie here with a quick announcement:

As part of our quest to make navigating Compass faster and easier for you, we’ve added a brand new feature you might recognize from our other Atlassian products. You now have the ability to (star) components, and access them through the drop down under “components” in the top navigation bar.

You can star a component either in the Component Search list, or on an individual component overview. We hope this makes it simpler to find what you need.

Remember, you also have the ability to (watch) a component on the component overview page. Watching a component means you will get notifications if its ownership changes.

What else would you like to see from / components? Some thoughts on our side:

• adding starred components to the home page

• notifications when watched component descriptions/links are updated

• adding starred and/or watched components to the Weekly Digest email
