Hello Raghav and welcome to the Community!

Your question is a great question. I tested on a server instance running 5.15. When I changed a Repo from Private to Public, the following was recorded within the audit log:

0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1 | RepositoryModifiedEvent | admin | 1525648421584 | ProjectKey/RepoName | {"old.isPublic":false,"new.isPublic":true} | @1XTYQBEx793x63x0 | 1yvcmop

I hope this proves helpful and you able to see these events.

Regards,
Stephen Sifers

Hello Raghav,

To follow up on this since I answered for Server and not the cloud product, in Bitbucket cloud there is no record when a repository is changed from Private to Public.

There is a feature request for Bitbucket Cloud to add additional confirmation/security to the process of changing from Private to Public. You may find this request at Issue #11116.

You're welcome to submit a feature request to have this added to the audit logs. Please go to the following to Create Issue.
