When I log into Bitbucket, or when I navigate to https://bitbucket.org/, I am redirected to another user's workspace overview. How do I fix this so that I see my own workspace by default?
If it helps:
* This other user is a former student who shared access to one of his course projects.
* This course project is the only repo I can see in his workspace, but I don't have admin access to it.
---
Update: I did just see these pages
When I removed my student's workspace, my default was switched to a different students workspace that I haven't accessed since 2017. I'm confused.
Hello @kurmasz ,
and welcome to the community!
As mentioned in one of the comments on the questions you linked, when you visit https://bitbucket.org, you will be directed to the last shared workspace you accessed (learn more on Difference between shared and personal workspaces). This does not include your personal workspace, which is why you are being redirected to a different workspace you have visited previously.
We understand that this might not be ideal for users who primarily work in their personal workspace. Therefore, we have submitted a feature request to our engineering team to allow users to select their default workspace. You can track the progress of this request here: BCLOUD-22561 .
In the meantime, the workaround is to access your workspace directly using the following URL pattern:
https://bitbucket.org/<workspaceID>
By replacing <workspaceID> with your specific workspace ID, you will be redirected to the exact workspace you want. To make it more convenient, you can bookmark this direct workspace URL in your browser for easy access.
Thank you, @kurmasz !

This feature request is now 21 months old! What makes it so difficult to implement?
