I'm trying to configure the GIT Version Control Viewer to access our repository hosted on github.com
I specify "<label style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;" for="enableFetchesTrue">Git repository hosted on remote server</label> " and enter my repository origin. However, I'm not sure what to enter for the repository root. It states that the repository root should be "Full path to the Git root on same local machine as JIRA." However, our repository is hosted on github.com and obviously our JIRA is not on the same machine.
How do I get my repository root?
Thanks,
Dave
It's more easier and faster to use Add Repository Wizard - https://bigbrassband.com/documentation.html#gitctrlvwr_addrepo
Just pass your repository origin in "Repository location" input, then Git Plugin clones the external repository and sets up Repository Root by itself.
