Triggering change in another repo when PR is merged to master

I have this scenario:

1. A change is merged to master in a repo.
2. Upon above action, package.json has to change (for previous repo's updated version tag) in another repo.

Is this possible?

Hi Jake, welcome to the Community!

Can you share an example to help us understand exactly what you're trying to achieve? 

We'll also need to know whether you're using Cloud or Server, as the solutions might vary. Something you could start by having a look is webhooks, would this work for you?

It seems from your description, however, that the actions should be happening in different repos, so I don't believe webhooks would be an option in your case. Please give us more detail so we can suggest other ideas.
