'Something went wrong' error displaying new pull request

ade October 27, 2022

I have a very large pull request from a dev branch with lots of changes into my main branch (3 months of daily work). The pull request cannot show the diff, understandably but it won't even show the files changed.

I have reloaded several times to no avail.

Is this likely just a display issue? Can I safely merge the PR (blindly) or may it actually be corrupted somehow?

Hi @ade,

These errors usually occur when a PR's diff is above our limits, I don't think there is a corruption issue and you can merge the PR.

Please check the following page for the limits we have for viewing diffs In Bitbucket Cloud:

If the PR is still open, you can change its Settings to load files individually, this will apply then to all PRs in the repo. You can also exclude files from PRs. Details for both options are provided in the doc I shared. Please feel free to let me know if this helps or if you're still experiencing issues.

Kind regards,
Theodora
