I was investigating an error, and had a class name to go after: RapportUtilities.

So I tried searching Bitbucket to find the class. No hits. After checking out the code, and searching for "RapportUtilities" in IntelliJ, I get 27 matches in 4 files. None of these show up in Bitbucket, even when searching only this repo. If I navigate to the file in Bitbucket, and search the file for "RapportUtilities", I get some hits.

How can this be? I have seen the criteria for the search to work, and I can't see that anything around this breaks with any of the criteria.

Does Bitbucket have the same search-functionality as Confluence or something?

Hi Torbjørn!

Does your search find other matches or do you not find any matches at all? It's possible that there has been an indexing problem and your repositories are not getting indexed. You can try following this guide to help solve the problem: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserverkb/rebuild-the-bundled-elasticsearch-indexes-for-bitbucket-server-833988382.html

Let me know if you have any more questions, or file a support ticket at https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-server/ to get our support team to help you.

Cheers,

Wolfgang
