Hi,
I deleted a commit that added a large file, but my repository space did not decrease.
Would it be possible to run garbage collection on the repository "ct-dynamic.bitbucket.io"?
Hey @황경하 ,
Welcome to the Community!
I've managed to run a garbage collection on the repository you shared, which helped to reduce its size back to ~850MB.
Now that the repo is clean, make sure that any contributors make a fresh clone of it to avoid accidentally pushing the large objects again from a previous dirty local copy of the repository.
Thank you, @황경하 !

Hello @황경하 ! Welcome to the Atlassian community!
The URL suggests that you're using the Data Center (on-prem) version of Bitbucket. Instructions for performing garbage collection are here. https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserverkb/how-to-perform-manual-garbage-collection-on-a-repository-in-bitbucket-server-867194296.html
You need to have admin privileges to perform this.

I am using bitbucket cloud. (https://bitbucket.org/dynamic-ct) Does garbage collection require a repository to be public?

No, I thought you were using an on-premise instance. I've contacted Atlassian Support. They'll take it from here in a day or so.
