I'm having a ton of trouble connecting to my BitBucket account.
Initially, I had Authy on iOS for my 2FA codes and a set of 8-digit-long recovery codes as back up. Authy stopped working, so I thought one of these 8-digit-long codes could get me in. I was forced to id.atlassian.com, but I was told recovery codes were 24-characters-long. Not having such a code, I submitted that I needed a hard reset. This mandated waiting for 48 hours.
The first 48 hours pass and an email comes, and I'm told it's valid within 12 hours. Less than that, I try and use it, but the link is already invalidated — how frustrating — and I gotta try again.
The second 48 hours pass and I am finally allowed in. I disabled and re-enabled 2FA, saving the newest 24-character-long recovery code.
Authy still fails to get me in, despite it working for every other major service of mine (Dropbox, Github, Microsoft). So what do I do? Enter a recovery code. However, now I'm told here these ought to be 8-digits-long!
I simply cannot get over how frustrating it is to use your product.
