NTLM/SSPI support for http and ssh Git operations on Stash

Alessio Massaro May 6, 2013

How can I enable NTLM/SSPI support for http and ssh Git operations on Stash?

To clarify: our target Stash deployment will be Windows and will authenticate users against our corporate Active Directory infrastruture. Most of our devs are Windows-based, so I would like to minimize the need for them to enter and/or store passwords by allowing them to use NTLM/SSPI to authenticate when they connect to Stash.

Thank you

It's not NTLM integration, but I've been using this plugin for msysgit http://gitcredentialstore.codeplex.com/ Which stored passwords securely in the windows credential vault rather than as plain text. Your other option would be to use ssh key pairs instead of passwords for authentication.
