I copied the home directory from the 4.7.1-Installation and started bitbucket 5.7.1.
My Stash 4.7.1 has MySQL database. The new 5.7.1 installation shows me that database is managed internally.
I can access the webpage at URL:7990 but everything is empty.
How can I transfer/migrate my projects?
Hi Stefan,
When installing Bitbucket 5.7.1, all you need to do is point it to the existing home directory, which will be upgraded automatically. It sounds like 5.7.1 didn't detect the existing home directory and therefore initialised a new setup.
Check the Bitbucket Server Upgrade Guide for details - specifically it sounds like you may not have entered the path of the existing home directory when you ran the installer.

Hi Christian,
there's a running stash 4.7.1 application with MySQL database which is names "stash".
I've a new machine and I simply want to bring that stuff to that machine (with latest version for sure which is Butbucket 5.7.1.
BB 5.7.1 on that machine works but there is no opportunity to tell BB which database or password to use. How can I proceed?
I think the homedirectory is installed correctly now.

Hi Stefan,
You should first migrate the 4.7.1 to the new machine, verify it's working, and then upgrade to 5.7.1 on the new machine.
We've got instructions on migrating to another machine at Migrating Bitbucket Server to another server
