Hi there,

We are planning to install Bit Bucket server on Ubuntu Server 14.04.4.

Can i know the steps to install Bitbucket server on Ubuntu Server.

As this is a server we will not have any GUI interaction.

We want to install Bitbucket server on this Ubuntu Server using a terminal.

Can we have those commands to install for a command line.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Satish.

Hi Anderson,

Thanks for the reply.

The link which you shared is not at all clear.

I need the command to download the linux installer. Like wget <link to the innstaller>.

After i download the installer then i can run the installer with "-c".

This document does not have any command to download the installer from a command line.

Also it will be help full if the documentation is detail rather then touching the outer part.

Thanks,

Satish.

Hi,

This is covered here in the documentation:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/running-the-bitbucket-server-installer-776640183.html

You need to start the installer with "-c", for more details see the "Console and unattended mode" section.
