I am a college student and when I made my bitbucket account, I was initially enrolled into a free plan and not an academic plan. Then I received this email verbatim
Important information from Bitbucket
The plan on the Bitbucket workspace, , has changed from Free to Academic.
Thanks,
The Bitbucket Team
it seems to be implying that a workspace called " " received the academic subscription instead of the <workspace-id> workspace I created
my bitbucket user name is <username>
when i check all my workspaces only <workspace-id> shows up, and when i try to change the hyperlink to " " or <username> the workspaces do not exist
it could have something to do with the university accidently making two accounts for me and then just deleting one the other day. (before they deleted it I had an academic plan on my old account)
Hi Trevor and welcome to the community.
It looks like the email did not properly capture the id of the workspace. Without an id, it's hard to say which workspace the email is referring to, it could be related to the deleted account and workspace.
I checked the workspace that your account has currently access to and I can confirm that it is indeed on the Academic plan.
Just a heads up, I removed the username and workspace ID from your post to protect your privacy.
Kind regards,
Theodora
hello, i submitted a help ticket to Atlassian directly and they resolved the issue, thank you for your time, and sorry i did not close this sooner
