I am trying to enable 2 steps verification in my account but I am not getting the final verification email

I can see in our system that the Bitbucket Cloud account with the same email as your community account already has 2FA enabled.
Is this the account you were trying to enable 2FA for and did you eventually receive the email?

Hi Theodora, it seems like the problem was that i was invited to a repo and i had not accepted the invitation, and somehow that was delaying the 2-step-authentication email to be delivered to me, after I accepted the invitation the 2 factor email came to me

The ability to enable 2FA is not related to your access to any repo. As long as you have a Bitbucket Cloud account, you should be able to enable 2FA regardless of your access. I'm glad you eventually received the email, please feel free to reach out if you need anything further!
