How to invite user to Bitbucket via REST APIs using email?

I want to integrate Bitbucket with my application and invite someone to Bitbucket using the REST APIs.
We had the invitation part in REST APIs version 1.0, but now, in version 2.0, we do not have a REST API to invite.
What should I do now?
Is there any solution for inviting someone to Bitbucket via REST APIs using email?

Since you are referring to version 1.0 and version 2.0 of the API, I assume that you are using Bitbucket Cloud?

You can still use version 1.0 of our API for Bitbucket Cloud workspaces with user management in https://bitbucket.org/:

• https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/invitations-resource/

This is not possible for Bitbucket Cloud workspaces that are linked to https://admin.atlassian.com/ for user management, and I'm afraid that the Atlassian Cloud Admin API does not offer an API endpoint to create / invite an Org user.

We have the following feature request for the ability to create an Org user via API:

If you use either Jira Cloud or User Provisioning, there are API endpoints available to create a user. These workarounds and API endpoints are mentioned the feature request I shared.

I suggest adding your vote to that feature request (by selecting the Vote for this issue link) as the number of votes helps the product managers better understand the demand for features.
