How to apply default reviewers rule for two branches?

lily_of_the_valley March 31, 2019

Hello, Dear Community,

I need to create default reviewers rule for two branch patterns of source branch.

For example, I have two branches: feature/PROG1-* and feature/PROG2-*. And I'm trying to create a single rule for checking pull-requests from these branches with a single list of reviewers. In the rule, I prescribe branch patterns through a logical OR (like this: feature/PROG1-*|feature/PROG2-*), but it does not work.

Do I have to create two rules just in order to use the same rule to review two branches?

Hi Svetlana, welcome to the Community :)

Unfortunately, that won't work, you'll have to add the rule to both branches separately.

Let us know if you have any questions,

Ana

Ana, thanks for the reply!
My problem is that the maximum number of default reviewers rules is limited to a one hundred. And in my project requires about two hundred rules. Is it possible to extend this limit?
