HOw to install BItBucket under windows server

Dear all,

We need to evaluate bitbucket Data Center under our virtual machine running windows server 2022.

From the download page, we are not able to find the Windows installer same as for Jira installer.

Any idea where I can get the windows installer for BitBucket ?

No, Bitbucket DC on windows is not supported. You will have to install it in a Linux server.

Bitbucket Data Center does not support Microsoft Windows, particularly for user tiers of 500 or more. Previously, Bitbucket Server was the only option available for installation on Windows, but support for Server products ended on February 15, 2024, making it impossible to purchase a new server license. The last Bitbucket version available for installation on Windows was 7.21.23, which required a server license. However it's EOL long time back. 

You can download Bitbucket Data Center from Download URL but it needs to be installed in Linux OS. You can find all the pre requisites from Supported platforms page.

Let me reply this latest doubt of yours and try to assist as well.

There shouldn't be a problem integrating Bitbucket installed in a Linux hosting and  Jira hosted in a Windows machine. You would be able to ingrate both apps using Application Links. In other words, the integration is platform-agnostic.

And more specifically, the following would be our documentation to integrate Bitbucket and Jira.

We have jira datacenter on premise runing on windows server machine. Does bitbucket linux will be able to communicate without trouble with our jira instance for syncing issue and releases version of git repo ?
