Hi All,
I was wondering if Atlassian will support DB2 anytime soon.
Should I really consider Stash with DB2 for enterprise use? or should I start taking a look at other databases?
Let me know.
Atlassian ended support for DB2 in JIRA back in 2009 to help reduce overhead of having to support so many databases. I don't see support coming to Stash for this reason.
I suggest looking into one of the currently supported databases - https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/STASH/Supported+platforms
Jeff is 100% correct. I don't see us supporting DB2 - we have enough overhead testing and supporting the current set of databases.

Hi Orlanda,
as already mentioned we are extremely unlikely to add support for DB2 in Stash.
I would highly recommend looking in the supported database that Jeff linked to.
Cheers,
Stefan
