Can we fix the chosen branch when we come back to a folder location?

Whenever we choose a branch and get into a folder to view a code or file the branch remains the same. But while coming back it again sets to default master branch which is annoying as we need to work on same feature branch only chosen. Can this be fixed?

What do you mean by this? Can you upload a screenshot or describe the action you are taking that resets the branch?

You had given two options to come back while we are viewing a code or file in bit bucket as shown in screenshot. May i know the purpose of the first one. Because that is the one which always takes to the master branch.

#1 is a breadcrumb link and links to the root of the repository directory. It loads the "main branch" which is configured in settings. This link is above the branch selector.

#2 is a directory link and respects whatever branch is chosen. This link is below the branch selector.
