We are configuring the DVCS Accpount / Github integration. This is working fine in our lower environment. However, in prod we have 10,000+ github repositories and do not want to have the "Enable Smart Commits" create 20,000+ webhooks in github. We think it is likely that only a couple thousand repos will be using the smart commits.
We like the idea of only having the webhooks for the repos in scope but also do not want to have to manually click 2000 repos to enable the smart commits initially nor have to add to the repo list (click the smart commit box) a dozen or so repos a week on the DVCS page.
We want the connectors default repository settings for smart commits disabled but a way to feed it the list of repos to enable the smart commits. Is there a way to to systemically refresh the repository list and enable "smart commit" check box?
We can work out the feed side of things, We are doing other Project and User / role administration thru a chatbot and would like to build a similar front end for Projects to request their Repos for smart commits. I need to know the trick on the Jira side (if it is possible and how).
