Hi,
Sorry, I couldn't find a proper topic for this, so posting here.
Later last year I noticed the email notifications from Atlassian community started to go to SPAM and in some cases not even being received.
I had a look today, and noticed that DMARC is failing:
Authentication-Results: mx.google.com;
dkim=pass header.i=@us.khoros-mail.com header.s=s1 header.b=U7tAj6cI;
dkim=pass header.i=@sendgrid.info header.s=smtpapi header.b=ew6X9hR5;
spf=pass (google.com: domain of bounces+13947486-38cc-xxxxxxxxxx.xxxxx=gmail.com@em9032.us.khoros-mail.com designates 149.72.223.204 as permitted sender) smtp.mailfrom="bounces+13947486-38cc-xxxxxxxxxx.xxxxx=gmail.com@em9032.us.khoros-mail.com";
dmarc=fail (p=QUARANTINE sp=QUARANTINE dis=QUARANTINE) header.from=em.atlassian.com
It would be nice to have this fixed, so we can start getting notifications again.
Thanks and regards,
Renato
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Yes, this is a known fault with Community - I get several hundred a day, and noticed suddenly about 50% going into spam.
I was able to turn off my email provider's spam filtering, but that's not ideal - I do get a couple of other things going to my community account, so I'm getting a few more spams get through. Of course, not everyone can change their provider's spam filter settings either.
The Community team are aware and they're looking into it, but there is no easy fix at the moment. More detail in the announcement about it. I would watch that for updates.
