I've tried one of my repository (untouched by - let's say - years) and it was missing. After logging into my account i found out all my repositories are gone. Audit log shows no deletion (it shows creation of those repositories tho). What is going on?

Hi and welcome to the community.

Were these repositories Mercurial?

Atlassian made a decision to move away from maintaining and supporting Mercurial repositories in 2019. Mercurial repositories were removed from our platform in 2020.

This was announced in community:

and on our blog:

The Bitbucket Cloud Support team is no longer able to restore those repositories.

If you are looking for a Mercurial repository that was public, all the public repos were archived by Software Heritage:

I had a look at Software Heritage's website, and I can see that there is a backup of a few public repositories associated with your Bitbucket workspace id.

Kind regards,
Theodora
