Admin cannot merge PR

As admin of the workspace, I already have implicit admin access to the repository, yet I cant merge a PR? The merge button is missing in the PR, and from the branch the merge option is greyed out.

I'm having the same issue as this question (https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Bitbucket-questions/PR-Merge-Decline-buttons-missing/qaq-p/1716265) but my issue doesn't seem to be magically resolving itself.

Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Jack Ducat ,

if permissions are ok for that user and he can write to the repo and to target branch, probably there's some merge check that are blocking this operation.

Please, verify that there're not merge check or, for your PR, all checks are verified.

Thanks - I reset the target branch permissions and that seems to have resolved the problems
