The Git submodule relationship is created in Git, not on a hosting platform. You'll need to run `git submodule add` with the submodule's URL, then commit and push.
Hello Jim. Thank you for taking the time and answering the question. Using the command line we are able to create the sub-module.
Wanted to know is there an API call for same in bitbucket for same.
I can see that there is one for gitlab: https://about.gitlab.com/2018/11/22/gitlab-11-5-released/#update-git-submodules-via-api
