Hi 

I have not been able to login to my Bitbucket account for nearly a month now, I was never presented the MFA for me to scan the QR Code but instead I got the Two-step verification page. I have clicked on the Forgot Code and it does not work as well.

I have clicked on the Forgot Code numerous occasions and did wait for 24 hours I still have not received any email from Bitbucket, on how to proceed with this issue.

Hi Nithya and welcome to the community!

Does this issue occur with the Bitbucket account that has the same email as your community account?

If so, I checked this account's status on our system and I see that Bitbucket 2FA is enabled. I can also see that there are no 2FA recovery requests for this account. If you'd like to disable 2FA on this account, please check the following knowledge base article for steps on how to do so:

After selecting the link Forgot code?, you will need to click on the button Send recovery email on the following screen. You will then receive an initial email stating that you will need to wait 24 hours for a one-time login link. After the 24-hour waiting period, you will receive a second email that will include a link you can use to disable 2FA.

If this issue occurs with a different account, are you able to log in to https://community.atlassian.com/ with the email of the affected account, and then leave a comment here so I can check the account's status?
