At Atlassian, we believe that the future of teamwork is in human and AI collaboration. This vision led us to create Atlassian Rovo, a highly extensible AI solution designed to help teams accelerate workflows, and enhance decision-making through AI-driven enterprise search, interactive chat, and intelligent agents.
Today, we are excited to announce that Bitbucket Cloud data is now available in Rovo Search. Developers can now use natural language to retrieve Bitbucket information using Rovo’s AI-driven enterprise search capabilities.
Developers spend too much time hunting for information—navigating repositories, tracking down pull requests, or manually searching for commit history.
Rovo Search improves developer experience by delivering AI-powered, context-aware results. Now, when you search for something like “mobile redesign project”, you can quickly find repositories, pull requests, commits, and branches related to the project along with Jira issues, project pages, and more across your Atlassian tools as well as third party tools like Figma, Google Docs, Slack, Teams, and more, without having to switch between tools. Today, Rovo supports over 20 connectors and we’re continuing to add more.
With Bitbucket data indexed in Rovo, you can use natural language search to get answers to questions with context from across the Atlassian ecosystem and third party tools.
To use Rovo Search:
Now, when you perform searches in Confluence, you can access search results across your connected apps.
We are continuing to improve Rovo Search and we’d love to hear from you. Please take the time to share your feedback with us using Rovo product feedback form.
For a more interactive experience, we’re working to integrate Bitbucket data into Rovo Chat, making it even easier to access insights across your development workflow.
We are just getting started. We have several more AI initiatives we are ideating on. Stay tuned for more on what’s coming.
Get started with a free 30 day Rovo trial and experience the benefits of faster, smarter search.
