Our security department will not allow Bamboo to access the Internet for updates and other needs without knowing what those sites are via IP or FQDN. We have not been able adequately determine a comprehensive list of sites/IP addresses on the Internet along with associated port number that Bamboo uses for updates and other needs. Can anyone help us out on this?

It can be disabled at Administration > System > Analytics
Bamboo will also connect to https://marketplace.atlassian.com to check if there is any update for add-on.

Yes, the only connection agent does is Bamboo server and tasks, for example checkout or SCP tasks require access to hosts configured for those tasks.
