How to conditionally trigger a plan based on files touched in git?

Mark Hirota January 15, 2015

How can I setup a trigger in Bamboo that only executes the plan/build based on file patterns?  In other words, how can I filter on the trigger based on commits to the source repository?

I think I found it.  When defining the Linked Repository, under the Advanced options, use the "File Pattern" field to define which folder/file patterns to match.

This may mean setting up multiple Linked Repositories – each pointing to the same SCM repo – but with different names and different File Patterns defined.

I am trying to do the same thing using this link: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMBOO/Repository+triggers+the+build+when+changes+are+committed

I haven't been successful so far, but maybe the link will help you.

Best of luck,
