I'm trying to find more information about how atlassian-bamboo.log is rotated in <INSTALL_HOME>/logs/. It appears that Bamboo is doing some form of log rotation by creating atlassian-bamboo.log1, atlassian-bamboo.log2, etc. However, I'm having trouble finding documentation on how long those files are retained.

I found this somewhat related question, but it is quite old, and I would like to know what the current default is for log rotation. Thanks for any help.

I believe the files will remain indefinitely and depending on the size set in log4j.properties.  Bamboo will rotate every time the max is reached ex) 20MB.
