Frequent SSH logins from Bamboo

Tim_Brigham December 20, 2012

I have Bamboo - 3.4.4 build 2812 - running on a windows box. My Git repositories are on a linux box.

Repositories are configured per plan with a URL like ssh://coderepo/repo/..

Shallow clones are enabled and the timeout is set to 180 minutes. There are only a couple dozen plans.

I'm getting over 500 SSH logins per hour from my bamboo server from the account we use to pull the code in. The sessions are short, about 1 second each.

I've already pushed up the logging in the log4j to all for both com.atlassian.bamboo.ssh com.atlassian.bamboo.plugins.ssh and org.apache.sshd. I'm not seeing anything that explains this behavior in the atlassiaon-bamboo.log file.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

Hi Tim, what kind of polling levels have you set on your git repos in your bamboo plans/global repos?

Cheers, Bryce
