When we include assets such as images in our projects, those assets are copied to the build instance and all is well. One of our developers recently added an Excel file to one of our unit test projects and that particular file is NOT copied to the build instance. As a result, the unit tests fail and our build won't deploy. How do I tell the build to copy our Unit Test "test file"?

So, for anyone else that may have this sort of issue, resources like images, when part of an executable, are copied automatically - resources, when part of a unit test are NOT copied. A separate task to perform the copy is required.

From your description it's not clear what Bamboo task copies your test resources to build instance.
