Bambo Server to Bambo DataCenter

Hello, I am not very expert in migrating from bamboo server to datacenter but I wanted to know what you recommend for a scenario in which they have a very old bamboo server without support, old oracle db 11 and Hedhat 6 operating system but they want to migrate to the most modern in both OS, DB and bamboo Datacenter, do you recommend that I install everything and only export the information from the DB?

You'll need to follow the upgrade guide path to move from very old version to the latest, I don't know current version so can't tell you the path, but you can refer Bamboo upgrade guide for the complete details.

Please check the upgrade path as below

You'll also need to Validate the version of DB and Java if they are supported on the version you are trying to move to, please check Bamboo Supported platforms to know more about this.

You can also refer  Atlassian Support Bamboo Knowledge Base 'How Do I...' and 'How to...' Guide to Bamboo How to plan for Bamboo upgrades from a very old version to a newer version when the current DB is not supported on a newer version for some helpful content

thanks .. There is a JFROG plugin since it is not compatible with Bamboo data center and other options exist.

Hello Felix,

Yes JFROG plugin shows Incompatible with Bamboo DC, you'll need to talk to the plugin Vendors for this.

In my experience the plugin shows as Incompatible but it works, you can give it a try.

Hello, I have two questions.
1) If there is an error in DataCenter with the JFROG plugin, the brand is no longer responsible because it does not have support?
2) Corresponding to the update path from Bamboo server to Datacenter, it worked for me, for the same case I have Bitbucket server to Datacenter, do you have that link?
