I am doing an automation with an incoming webhook, and since a few days ago it has stopped working when using the webhook in another instance of Jira. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you.
Hello @Jesús Velarde
Please provide more information.
Are you working with Jira Data Center or Jira Cloud?
What do you mean exactly by "using the webhook in another Jira instance"? Do you have an automation rule in another Jira instance (with a different URL) that is executing a Send Web Request action to call the webhook?
What exactly do you mean by "stopped working"? Is the rule not getting triggered? Is the rule getting triggered but not producing the expected results? What is appearing in the Audit Log for the rule?
If the rule is getting triggered but not producing the expected results, please provide screen images showing the entire rule and the output in the audit log.
What information are you able to get from the system calling the webhook?
I have created an automation cloud rule that is triggered when an incoming webhook is received in instance A. That webhook is added in the System -> Webhook section of my instance B. Since the secret has been implemented in the new webhooks, I check in Postman that the request gives me a 200 response, but the rule is not triggered.

What events have you specified in instance B for the webhook? Are any of those events actually occurring in instance B?

Issue created, edited and deleted.
Comment created, edited and deleted.
No event is occurring in instance B

What exactly do you mean by „using the webhook in another instance“?
Could you please give more details, screenshots of your automation rule? Please describe the whole use case with all systems/instances/where is what used? everything that helps to unterstand the whole situation to be able to analyse and help.
Thanks in advance.
Best
Stefan

It´s really strange. I couldn´t get any webhook work either :(
Unfortunately in Jira (cloud) I can´t even see if a webhook was triggered. I also tried to trigger an automation (incoming webhook) from another tool (github) which wasn´t working either (got the same status code 400).

I understand that you are expecting that an incoming webhook would trigger an automation rule for a Jira Cloud site. Could you let me know the URL of the two Cloud sites in question? And which site is the one listening for this call?
Perhaps with this additional information we can investigate this further.
