I am a site admin. When I go to Atlassian Home (I have Platform Experiences on), and click on Create Team from the Teams dropdown. Type in a team name, click create. The dialog vanishes, I get no feedback, neither negative or positive. No team is created.
Do I need any other type of permission? I am also a contributor on Jira Product Discovery in our site.

As a site admin, you should generally have the necessary permissions to create teams. However, the issue could be related to a few specific factors:
Team Creation Permissions: While site admins usually have permissions, some organizations may have additional controls set up that restrict team creation. It's worth checking with your organization's Atlassian administrator if there are any permissions restrictions in place for creating new teams.
Platform Experiences (Teams) Settings: Since you have Platform Experiences on, it should ideally allow for seamless team creation. However, if there's an error or issue with Atlassian's new experiences, it's possible there's a temporary bug. Logging out, clearing cache, and logging back in could help reset any potential issues with the interface.
Product Access for Jira Product Discovery: As a contributor, you should generally be able to create teams, but specific roles within Jira Product Discovery could sometimes influence permissions. Check if any custom roles or settings within this product might affect this process.
